White Horse Folk Club

The club is held in the bar of the he White Horse Inn, continuing a tradition established in 1993. Musicians and singers perform without amplification in a traditional setting. There is usually an invited guest every other session (i.e. once a month) and there are floor spots to anyone who would like to perform.

On any evening there can be a wide range of styles ranging from traditional to contemporary folk singers and players, but also including blues singers, blue grass bands jug bands and country singers.

Admission is free, but there is a voluntary collection, the proceeds of which go towards funding the guest performances.
