A selection of straight-forward dances giving a light-hearted introduction
to the basic style of folk dances of different countries.
The dances have been chosen for ease of learning and enjoyable music.
The dance list could include dances from Portugal,
Bolivia, Polynesia, Japan, Lithuania, Turkey, Russia, and France.
Note: Instruction will be in English!

Open Folk Night in Crowborough

Saturday 29th October 2011 7pm (for 7:30pm) - 11:00pm
Old Fire Station Cafe, High Street, Crowborough


An 'open floor' evening for performers, musicians/singers and interested audience for an entertaining evening of Folk music.

Performers and audience are invited to participate in a sing around and instrumental evening.

Come along, bring your instruments and voices or just come to watch and be entertained

We are hoping to encourage people to come along, have a go, have a sing around, and have a good time! We are looking to encourage those who are already Folk enthusiasts as well as people trying it out.
